First unofficial kick-off CLIMASTEPPE meeting in snowy Potsdam

On March 15th and 16th the unofficial kick-off workshop was held in Potsdam (Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, generously hosted by Dr. Susanne Rolinski and Dr. Christoph Müller). During two days we outlined the milestones for all working packages and made agenda for 2018. The excellent presentation about plans to conduct parallel studies on land-use intensity by Dr. Jurai Lieskovsky (Slovakian Academy of Sciences) and Dr. Robert Pazur (WSL, Switzerland). Dr. Irina Kurganova summarized about existing soil organic carbon chronosequences in Russian steppes.
