The ultimate goal of the project is to assess the ability of the Russian dry steppes to mitigate negative projections of climate change by adopting climate-smart agriculture.

Непосредственная задача проекта – оценить возможности нивелирования негативных последствий изменений климата в регионе сухих степей России с помощью внедрения климатически «умного» сельскохозяйственного землепользования. В рамках проекта с учетом изменений климата и социоэкономических изменений будут разработаны модели оптимального землепользования.
